Monster Garden Oracle Cards: Interactive Group Readings

4 players sit around a table and draw 3 cards each from a deck of Monster Garden Oracle Cards, which are based on Monster Garden, a game shown at AMAZE Open Screens pre-COVID. On a player’s turn they ask a question, and the other three players each contribute one card to collaboratively provide a “message” to answer the player’s question. Similar to tarot readings, but collaborative and based on a video game. The attached video is the trailer for my game Monster Garden, which was created in Berlin and released in 2018. I made the deck of cards after that (published in 2023). I don’t have a video of collaborative Monster Garden Oracle Card readings, but I attached photos of my table at Playtopia in Cape Town in December 2025 where I did them.
